Common issues

I forgot which phone number I used to sign up.

Open OVRHD → on the sign-in screen, tap Continue with Apple if that's how you originally created the account. Otherwise, email us at hello@ovrhd.co with the @username you used and we'll help you recover it.

I want to delete my account and all my data.

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This wipes your profile, recordings posted to the Concert Wall, all your follows, blocks, and likes. It's permanent.

If you can't sign in to delete your account in-app, email hello@ovrhd.co from the email associated with your Apple Sign-In, or include your @username if you signed up with phone. We'll delete the account within 7 business days.

I want to report a user or a post.

Tap the three-dots menu on any wall post → Report Post (choose a reason) or Block @user. Three distinct reports on the same post automatically hide it pending review.

Push notifications aren't working.

Check Settings → Notifications in OVRHD — make sure the toggles for "New follower" and "Like on your post" are on. Then check iOS Settings → OVRHD → Notifications and confirm OS-level push is allowed. If both are correct and you're still missing pushes, email us.

I can't sign in with phone number.

Firebase Phone Auth uses SMS. Make sure your number is in international format (e.g. +1 555 123 4567), that you have cell signal, and that your carrier accepts short-code SMS. If you don't receive the code within 60 seconds, tap Resend. If it still doesn't arrive after two retries, email hello@ovrhd.co.

"Find Friends" isn't matching my contacts.

Make sure your friends have signed up with the same phone number you have for them in your contacts. We match phone numbers via on-device SHA-256 hash — a friend who signed up with a different number than the one in your address book won't match. If they've signed up but the match isn't appearing, ask them to sign out and back in to refresh their phone hash.

I bought OVRHD Pro / an artist pack and it's not unlocked.

v1 ships free for everyone — there are no purchases yet. If a future release adds them and a purchase doesn't unlock, open Settings → Restore Purchases. If that fails, email us with the Apple ID order confirmation.

My video shows the OVRHD watermark and I want it removed.

Watermark removal is part of the planned Pro tier (not shipped in v1). All v1 recordings include the brand watermark in the corner. Sorry about that — it's how we keep the launch tier free.
